Not that many people would believe me if I said a kiwi has more vitamin C than an orange. would you? The mainstream fruits have been taking over in the U.S for a while now and I say it’s time to give Kiwis a chance in this world of oranges, apples, and bananas.

Despite oranges being known for their vitamin C content, a kiwi wins the race giving you 85% of your daily value worth of vitamin C. Not only are they rich in vitamin C, but these little furry fruits are also rich in antioxidants such as, vitamin K, copper and vitamin E. I’m not saying to stop eating oranges because some fruit is better than no fruit but give other fruits a chance to shine.
Another reason to start eating what I would consider a superfruit is that kiwis help aid with digestion. including myself, I know that many people occasionally suffer from stomach pains and constipation. Well, “Raw kiwi contains actinidain, a protein-dissolving enzyme that can help digest a meal much like the papain in papaya or bromelain in pineapple.” There are many more reasons to avoid these furry fruits but next time you see them at the store remember how healthy they are!
