Welcome to my site!

First and foremost I would like to introduce myself and the reason I chose nutrition to be my main topic. My name is Alex and did not care about my eating habits for the most part of my life. Until I realized that my body started to reject certain foods and reacting well to others. The reason I wanted to create this website was for people to be more aware of how the benefits of eating more nutritive foods can be.

Since nutrition is such a broad spectrum, I will be focusing on the benefits of superfoods and myth-busting traditional ideas of what being healthy means. Being healthy does not always mean losing weight or gaining weight, to me is about feeling good overall. One could say a person is at the right weight profile but that person can very well be malnourished.IMG_0334

There are many factors that can contribute to a person to be considered “healthy”, which is different for every person. In my opinion, there is no such thing as healthy foods vs non-healthy foods, I would put it as nutritive food vs less nutritive foods. For the most part, all food will contain a certain amount of vitamins and will contribute to your daily allowance it just depends what you want your diet to consist of. I will be discussing nutrition topics based topics with interesting ideas as well as my opinion on this blog, stay tuned to what comes next!
